The following lists out our terms and conditions in relation to workshops held at Chez Gourmet Studio:

Studio Rules

​

• Students should present their receipts or bank-in slips when attending the class. They should keep their receipts until the end of the programme.

 

• All classes will begin promptly at scheduled starting times. Students should arrive 10 minutes before class time.

​

• Chez Gourmet Studio reserves the right to change the workshop’s instructor, time and activity venue.

​

• Student should show proper care and regard for school property and kitchenwares. Any student found to have caused damage to the school property, is liable to a fine, based on the market value of the damaged goods.

 

• Student should take care of his/her personal belongings. Chez Gourmet Studio shall not be held responsible for the loss of students' property of any kind.

Absence

 

All course fees are non-refundable; if you are unable to attend the workshop:

​

a)  One-time workshop

You can transfer your vacancy to another person, and this is to be arranged among yourself and the other person attending the workshop. Please notify us of the changes once it is confirmed.

​

b)  Multiple-times workshops

As these workshops are interlinked, you can catch up the topics you have missed by either coming to the studio earlier or staying behind, ending latest one hour before the subsequent workshop. Please inform the tutor of your situation at least 3 days in advance, otherwise, no make-up session will be entertained. 

 

Photography and Videography

 

While you are welcome to take photos during workshops, videography and audio recording during the workshop are strictly prohibited.  No warning will be given and participation of the workshop will be immediately suspended without refund.

From time to time, we take photos of students attending the workshop and their finished work.  If you do not want to be included in any photos, please let us know before the workshop begins.

​

Typhoon Contingency Arrangement

 

If the typhoon signal no. 8 or above or black rainstorm signal is hoisted, all the affected classes will be cancelled or rescheduled. All affected students will be notified of the latest arrangements by telephone. However, all classes will continue as usual if the typhoon signal no. 8 or above or black rainstorm is lowered 4 hours before class time.

Others

• In the case of insufficient enrolment, students will be notified of the cancellation of events at least 3 days prior to the commencement.

​

• In the case of any dispute, Chez Gourmet Studio reserves the right for all final decisions.
